SMC stakeholders aim to attain the basic core values as the guiding principles or three stars of the Higher Education Department (HED):
Faith is believing in God, trusting in what we believe and doing God’s will.
Excellence is striving to provide a solid Christian formation in the student’s chosen field or profession. It aims to contribute to the formation of its Christian community by example and through the exercise of interior freedom and responsible leadership. In short, excellence is all about making a difference by doing what is best with passion.
Service is doing the right things right the first time, on time and all the time. Further, we commit ourselves to live by our other significant values: love of God, piety, courage to speak and stand for what is true, nationalism, simplicity, preferential option for the poor, and humility in thoughts, words and actions.
St. Michael's College of Iligan City, a Catholic institution of higher learning in Iligan City, administered by the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM), offering four levels of education: elementary, secondary, tertiary and graduate school.
Its programs are accredited by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) for 25 years, a silver triumph indeed!
