The Student Affairs Office (SAO) has imposed a set of rules that Michaelites are asked to follow due to different sub-culture that we have here in St. Michaels’s College. Generally, rules are implemented to maintain order in organization.


Without these rules, chaos is inevitable no matter what organization you are in. Most of the time, young people, like us, are intrigued with the fact that if one doesn't abide by these rules, where one will get himself/herself into. We tend to deliberately challenge the rules that laid upon us to see the effect of our actions. But whether you believe it or not, these rules are meant for our well being. Yes, definitely, we live in a free world. But every freedom that one gets to enjoy there’s always a limitation.

The SMC administration would like to remind us, Michaelites, to observe these rules - some of them are stated in the Gabay, the official handbook of St. Michael’s College. Please be guided on the following:

1. Avoid Public Display of Affection
2. Avoid cheek to cheek greetings
3. Observe the proper length of skirt uniform (2 inches above the knee)
4. Black flat shoes are not allowed
5. Observe the proper use of “Kumbong” inside the campus. It should be PLAIN black and white only. Not following the said guidline of “Kumbong” will be confiscated.
6. Use the prescribed school pin. If not, other pin will be confiscated.
7. Observe 5s 1 inside the campus.
