     SMC has been identified for the past 5 years with the color pink when the former president, S. Ma. Yolanda C. Reyes, RVM, changed the color of the school buildings.  Somehow, it gave a new representation as the school reinvented its many ways to become dynamic and a better school particularly in terms of its physical attributes.  The innovation made an impact to its surroundings when the Cathedral also adopted the same color and also with other companies.  Thus, pink was the “in” color, as observed.

     This SY 2012-2013, on the 2^nd year of S. Ma. Rufina B. Guillano, RVM, as the President, SMC returns back with pride and honor its original color which is blue.  It reminds the current and the alumni Michaelites the genuine distinctiveness of its color.  Further, the color reminds of the school’s growth transcending towards 100 years in 2014-2015 as harnessed by ups and down, by pains and glories and even depicting maturity and excellence.

 “Let her blue and her white standard fly.”  Indeed, it is nice to be a proud MICHAELITE!
